FAQs

Do you offer couples massages?

At this time, Elysium is only accommodating individual sessions. You may book two services at the same time, however you won’t be in the same room.

What is your cancelation policy?

Changes or cancellations to appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the booked services being applied to your account.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We recommend wearing comfortable, easily removable clothing. For massage and facial services, you may disrobe to your comfort level. You will remain covered by a sheet and blanket throughout the session. Proper draping standards are heavily enforced, at no time will sensitive areas be exposed.

For waxing services, only the area to be waxed must be exposed. If your lower legs will be waxed, you can bring or wear shorts, for underarm waxes you can bring or wear a tank top, etc.

How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment at Elysium you can click the “Book Now” button at the top of this page, call us at 831-375-1976 or email us at elysiumspamonterey@gmail.com.

What should I do before and after my massage?

Massage stimulates the digestive system, so for your comfortablility, we recommend avoiding large meals or drinking alcohol prior to your massage.

After your massage we highly recommend hydrating, taking a warm bath and gently stretching. These activities can help attain longer lasting results from your massage.

How soon will I start seeing results from my facial?

Right after your facial, you will notice softer, smoother and more hydrated skin. If you have specific concerns such as acne or dark spots these concerns may not disappear immediately after your treatment. If you stick to a skin care routine targeted towards your goals and receive facials regularly, your skin health will continue to improve.

Can minors receive treatments at Elysium?

For guests aged 13-15, the parent or guardian must be present in the treatment room during the entire service.

For guests aged 16-17 the child may be by themselves in the treatment room if both guest and parent or guardian are comfortable with it. Otherwise parent or guardian must be present in the treatment room during the entire service.
